About Dockdoor Capital

We underwrite distributors the way distribution actually works.

Dockdoor Capital is a direct funding source for wholesalers, distributors, importers and food-service suppliers, based in Miami, Florida. We underwrite working capital, lines of credit and factoring in-house, off your bank statements and your receivables, with 2-page contracts and no split funding.

What we are

Dockdoor Capital is a direct funding source for the businesses that sit between the manufacturer and the shelf: broadline and specialty distributors, produce and protein wholesalers, importers, grocery and convenience wholesalers, packaging and industrial supply houses. We underwrite working capital advances, lines of credit and factoring facilities in-house, off your bank statements and your accounts receivable, and we fund them from our own capital. SBA 7(a), SBA Express and term loans above $500,000 are packaged by us and placed with our bank and SBA-preferred lending partners, because that is who funds those products.

Dockdoor Capital is headquartered at 9719 S Dixie Hwy #8, Miami, FL 33156.

What we believe about this industry

Distributors get underwritten badly. The standard model sees a $200,000 wire to a supplier and reads distress, when it is a container. It sees a balance that drops to near zero the day the duty is paid and reads risk, when it is Tuesday. It sees a grocery chain paying in 75 days and reads a collection problem, when it is simply the chain’s terms.

The business is a cash cycle: money goes out at the dock and comes back at net-60. Any lender that does not read it as a cycle will either decline the file or price it as if it were failing. So we read it differently: average daily balance over top line, deposit consistency over a single good month, your floor instead of your average, large outflows in the context of the purchase order they paid for, and your customers’ credit counted when the product is factoring.

How we work

Both ends of the cycle

Working capital and a line fund the buy before the goods arrive. Factoring funds the invoice after they ship. One application, one underwriter, and the products are built to run together.

In-house first

Every file goes to our own underwriting desk before it goes anywhere else. You get a real answer from the people who make the decision.

Numbers before signatures

Amount, total payback, payment and schedule, on screen, before you commit to anything. The contract is two pages.

Call us before you stack

If a chain stretches its terms and the payment stops working, we would rather re-term a live file than watch a distributor take a third and fourth position. That conversation costs you nothing.

No automated outreach

We don’t run drip campaigns. If you hear from us, it’s a person who has read your file.

The straight version of what this costs

Fast money is expensive money. A 12-month working capital advance is the most expensive product we offer, and it exists because a container releasing Thursday doesn’t wait 45 days for an SBA approval. If you have 680 credit, two years of returns and a month of runway, SBA will cost you a fraction of what we charge for an advance, and we will tell you that on the phone. If your real problem is a chain paying in 75 days, factoring is usually cheaper than an advance and we will tell you that too. We would rather place you correctly once than fund you wrong twice.

Dockdoor Capital is a new brand and does not claim otherwise. We do not publish testimonials we did not receive, funded-volume figures we cannot support, or awards we did not win. Every number on this site is a real criterion or a representative example, labeled as such. See compliance and disclosures.
